In 2011, The Polka Dotted Bee was created with the hopes of marrying current design with the romantic vibes of yesteryear. While planning her own wedding, Ashley Smith found it difficult to navigate the vast market of wedding goods without being disappointed. After crafting her own handkerchief wedding invitations, she set out to create bespoke handkerchief items for others.
